Yes. You should have received an email from Outfront Health with a link to register your patient portal. Please complete registration before collecting and shipping your blood sample.

Registering your account ensures:

  • Your sample is correctly matched to your profile
  • You can view results in the secure portal once testing is complete
  • You receive notifications when your results are ready

If you don’t see the registration email, check your spam or junk folder, or reach out to Outfront Health support.

At a minimum, your sample must reach the top fill line on the collection tube.

  • If your tube fills completely, that’s perfectly fine - do not pour out any blood.
  • If the tube is below the fill line, the lab may not have enough sample to run all of your tests.

Collect your sample Monday through Thursday only.

  • This ensures your sample reaches the lab without weekend delays.

  • We recommend collecting first thing in the morning:
    Before eating any food
    After drinking a glass of water to stay hydrated

You’ll place the device on the upper arm, about 2–3 inches below the shoulder. This area has good circulation and is ideal for collecting blood.

Step 1: Hold the heating pack in your hand.

Step 2: Locate the small metal disc inside the pack.

Step 3: Bend the disc in the opposite direction of its concave (curved) side until you feel or hear a “click.”

Step 4: If the pack does not activate right away, repeat the snapping motion 3–4 more times.

Step 5: Once activated, gently massage the pack to spread the heat evenly before placing it on your arm.

Alternatively, If the pack still does not activate, warm your arm using a warm washcloth, warm water, or by gently massaging the area for 2–3 minutes.

If you receive two kits, don’t worry - this is intentional.

  • Complete both collections using each Tasso device.
  • Place both collection tubes into one box.
  • Use the box that already has the prepaid shipping label attached.
  • Seal and mail that box back to the lab.

You can discard the extra empty box.
